Megan is an energetic and enthusiastic trainer and coach who has been working in the Equine Industry for over 27 years. Her resume boasts 6 years overseas in the US Army, a Degree in Equine Science, 10 years as a Wild West Performer, Trick/Film Industry Horse Trainer , 14 years as a Traveling Clinician, and 28 years of Coaching and Riding Instructing. She is a talented rider and trainer, Ranch Owner /Manager, Horse Show Producer and a forever student. Be Warned! Megan is a health and fitness enthusiast and encourages everyone within her scope of influence to live their healthiest and most positive lives.

SR Obstacle Challenges
Sunset Ranch Obstacle Challenges are a fun and challenging way to test the communication between a horse and rider/handler. Each SROC weekend includes different obstacles for competitiors and their partners to work through together. Obstacles used include movements required in all equinie diciplines which make these events valuable additions to any training program. Compete in-Hand, Mounted or at Liberty! SR Working Equitation
Working equitation is an International Sport intended to showcase the skills used in the field by the working horse. Competitions include four trials: a Dressage Trial, Ease of Handling Trial, a Speed Trial and whenever possible a Cattle Trial. Megan just finishing up her L-Judge Certification and offers Instruction in both lesson and clinic format. She also produces Working Equitation Shows in Goodyear, Chino Valley and Seligman. Sunset Ranch Riding Academy
The SR Riding Academy is the heart and soul of Sunset Ranch. Operating in Seligman and Goodyear seasonally, Megan and the Sunset Ranch lesson Horses offer high quality instruction students of all ages. Sunset Ranch X-Country Course
The Sunset Ranch X-Country Course offers an amazing schooling oppertunity for green and seasoned competitiors and alike. We have a full course of permanent fences 18″ and lower, Starter (2’3″), Beginner Novice and Novice heights with a few friendly Training height fences thrown in. We have a friendly water complex and terrain questions, a Stadium Course and Small Dressage Court. All this PLUS views! Schooling is offered year round and 3-Phase Schooling Shows are offered seasonally.
