Welcome to Sunset Ranch!  We are a full service training facility located in Buckeye, Arizona.  For over a decade, Sunset Ranch has been training and rehabilitating “un-trainable” horses and starting safe ad dependable mounts for all disciplines.  Here at Sunset Ranch, we use what we call “Natural Horsemanship”.  To us, this means using the natural instinct of the horse to cause our desires to become theirs.  Our methods of training are free of the use of force, intimidation, and fear based responses.  We develop the young horse and teach the difficult horse to want to be a partner.  We value the spirit of the horse and preserve its individual character at all cost.  Our training fundamentals are grounded deep in the teachings of many great horseman to include:  Ray Hunt, Monte Foreman, Buck Branaman, Janiece Wilson, Clinton Anderson, and Pat Parelli.  We are perpetual students and are constantly learning and tweaking our methods to fit the individual horse.  We believe that many trainers have methods that work and try to learn from everyone we can!  We also believe in having a good time with your horse, so enjoy the site and stop by to see us in person when your in the area!  We love to meet new friends!
