The original Baddog Shooter Saddle was designed by Gary “Baddog” Bennett in partnership with Rocking R Saddlery. Baddog is a twelve time World and National Champion Cowboy Mounted Shooter and this saddle was designed with the specific needs of shooters in mind. This saddle is handmade, hand tooled and all materials used are made here in the USA. The quality of the workmanship put into this saddle is evident to even the nonrider. The saddle has just enough bling to turn heads and is a well thought out design that makes it a pleasure to ride in. The Baddog saddle is intended to help you find your balance point and stay in a proper riding position; all without holding you too tightly. The original Baddog has a 3/4 position in skirt rigging and is made on a Steele flex tree; providing extra comfort and flexibility for your horse. This saddle features crossed six shooter pistols inlaid on the single skirt, a rawhide and silver laced pommel and cantle, and roughout on both the fenders and jockey to help hold you in place while you focus on your targets.

The Mrs. Baddog saddle was designed by Megan Bennett AKA Mrs. Baddog. Mrs. Baddog designed this saddle specifically with the ladies in mind. This saddle is a smaller, lighter weight version of the Bad Dog line but packs just as much punch as the others. This saddle features a glazed rawhide horn, a rounded skirt, rawhide and silver laced pommel and cantle and rounded skirt. The Mrs. Has a customized tree that offers a spread 3/4” wider than the original full quarter horse bar. This saddle features the 3/4 position in skirt rigging, rough out fender and jockey, higher cantle and basket weave tooling with silver dots that border the rough out for a very sharp look.

Baddog loves the original Baddog Shooter Saddle, but he really missed his balanced ride saddle that was fashioned after the Monte Foreman Balanced Ride saddle. The Baddog #2 is Baddog’s version of this style and it is amazing to ride in! This saddle’s features include the 7/8 position dropped rigging with rear D, a hand tooled scull inlay with guns a’ blazing on the housing and rough out on both the fenders and jockey to help hold you in place while you focus on the target. New to this model are the free swinging fenders with AZ twist and a rawhide cantle. This saddle is available with a barbed wire tooling bordering the fenders and skirt for a look that is defiantly Baddog, but unique from the rest of the line.
